2016 was a great year for my little Shop at Blu blog. I documented more projects than ever before! And I made a ton of new friends both online and at The Blue Building Antiques and Consignment! I’ve learned how to plan my projects a little better and how to present them more professionally with my ever improving photography skills. Here are my top projects 2016:

1. Thrift Store Throwdown
This was my FIRST thrift store swap! And it was fabulous!
2. Succulent decor
We do this project every spring at The Blue Building Antiques and Consignment. And I finally shared it!
3. Easy Pallet Wood Projects
Many of my top ten posts are the result of challenges with my blogging friends! You will find more creativity in the linkups to these posts than you will know what to do with! You are very welcome!
4. How to make signs with your Silhouette
This was another project for a blog hop with some talented blogger friends!
5. Pure Elegance…an upcycled sofa table
This is one of my favorite projects for the Fab Furniture Flippin’ Contest!
6. How to get a chippy finish on old doors.
These doors are quickly becoming a trademark for us at Blu!
7. Bling Bling! A MCM Record Cabinet Upcycle with Country Chic Paints!
Another of my favorite upcycles completed for The Fab Furniture Flippin’ Contest!
8. Just a Normal Home – Holiday House Tour
This was my first ever holiday house tour and it was sooooo much fun!
9. A first attempt at upholstery-how to re-upholster an ottoman.![]()
The fact that this project made my top ten list just goes to show you that every project matters…even the projects, like this one, that kick your butt!
10. Using Ladders to Decorate
I have enjoyed revisiting these projects! Hopefully you have found some inspiration here as well.
